Sunday Traditional Worship Service

Two traditional worship services in the sanctuary, featuring scripture, a sermon by our pastor, and music provided by our music program. The church family at First United Methodist invites you, your family, and friends to join us! From May 29 through Labor Day we offer only one worship service, at 10:00am. Adult education classes continue in the summer from 9:00 to 10:00am.

To worship is to experience awe in the presence of the Living God. Children and adults learn more about God and more about themselves. Our worship services are family friendly. A children’s message is a special time set aside for children. At First United Methodist children are always welcome in worship and never a distraction. We understand that 5-year-olds behave as 50-year-olds.

Children from infancy through four years old are welcome too in our professionally staffed church nursery.

Children from five through high school learn to ring chimes and handbells as well as singing in a choir.
